Your Role
The Purpose of a tool maker in Kea-Flex Mouldings is to produce new, modify and refurbish precision injection , compression and transfer moulding tools used to manufacture a wide variety of products within our quality standards and in the most efficient manner. Tool makers are expected to meet customer demands and requirements through the timely completion of work and also to provide good internal customer service across the various functions on site. A post holder should show good attention to detail through the completion of all required paperwork to the required standard to maintain good traceability of tool room operations. A tool maker is expected to adhere to the companies stipulated, IT, HR & QSHE policies.
Key Responsibilities
·As a tool maker you would be expected to be multi-skilled undertaking a variety of the tasks listed below depending on training and experience (this list is not exhaustive).Tool Design & Manufacture
·To be responsible for the safe use of machinery and equipment in the department. xgikmsk
·To report any machine and equipment faults and/or defects to the site manager / maintenance as soon as observed to arrange repair or maintenance.
