I am recruiting for a part-qualified actuary with UK DB pensions experience to join the insurance BPA Pricing team of a recent entrant to the bulk annuity market. Following their first couple of successful transactions, the team is looking to expand at a very exciting time.
The initial focus of the role will be to use your technical skills and pensions knowledge to assist with the pricing/quotations process. As you progress, you will benefit from being one of the first few people to join the team, which means the ability to shape and influence your role as you grow, and how you work with others in the team.
The team is currently based in Buckinghamshire, and would like to see you in the office at least a couple of days per week. There are train links from London Marylebone, but would be well suited to someone who lives closer to the area.
You are likely to be a part-qualified actuary with good pensions experience and making good progress with the exams. However, candidates with similar experience who are not taking the exams, or candidates who are fully qualified will also be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a start-up environment while the team is in its infancy, so please do get in touch if you’d like to hear more.
