Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chichester. You will prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, LLP's, sole traders and partnerships. You will also complete corporation tax returns and prepare and file personal tax returns under the supervision of the Portfolio Managers. This role will be a direct support to the Portfolio Managers whilst also providing assistance to more junior staff members at earlier stages of their training. The role involves liaising with clients to gather information, explain financial results in clear, accessible language, and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • AAT4 qualified or ACCA part qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Experience within practice essential (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong technical skills in financial accounting, management accounting, and preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and cloud systems
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-specialists and build positive client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work and a systematic approach to meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to the needs of a varied client base
