The Opportunity

The Housing Association are delivering an ambitious asset strategy to unlock capital from selected properties and reinvest across its wider portfolio. With a live pipeline already in motion, the role is now looking for a commercially driven, hands-on professional to take ownership of sales activity and convert opportunities into completed deals. The Role

  • Void property sales
  • Tenant purchases
  • Shared ownership and staircasing

Your focus will be simple: Generate momentum, drive engagement, and get deals over the line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end property sales from instruction through to completion
  • Progress existing opportunities (voids and tenant interest) into completed transactions
  • Engage directly with tenants to understand motivations and convert interest into sales
  • Work closely with estate agents, solicitors, and internal stakeholders to maintain pace and remove blockers
  • Develop and implement practical, commercially driven sales strategies
  • Structure incentives where needed (e.g. pricing, minor works) to unlock demand
  • Support shared ownership sales and drive staircasing activity across the portfolio
  • Maintain visibility of pipeline performance and ensure consistent delivery

What We’re Looking For:

This role is all about execution and delivery. You’ll likely come from experience with:

  • Residential property sales (estate agency, auctions, investment sales), or
  • Housing association sales / home ownership / disposals

Essential:

  • Proven track record of personally closing property deals
  • Strong negotiation and commercial instinct
  • Comfortable working directly with tenants and buyers
  • Ability to operate autonomously and proactively
  • Experience managing the full sales lifecycle

Desirable:

  • Exposure to shared ownership or affordable housing
  • Experience working with tenanted stock or complex sales environments

Why Join Them:

  • Immediate impact, live deals ready to be closed
  • High autonomy and trust from senior leadership
  • Opportunity to shape and drive a key revenue-generating function
  • Potential to transition into a longer-term role as the wider programme evolves
