James Stevens Associates are proud to be working with a wonderfully commercial Housing Association in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire who are now on the hunt for their next Communications Assistant on an interim basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on communications work, writing engaging content, creating simple visuals, and supporting campaigns that connect with communities.
If you’re someone who can roll up your sleeves, write clearly, design simple but effective content, and keep things organised, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll support a busy communications team across a mix of customer and internal communications, including:
- Writing clear, friendly copy for customer communications
- Designing visual content and templates using Canva or Photoshop
- Supporting customer campaigns and newsletters
- Helping promote customer involvement opportunities
- Assisting with internal staff communications and design requests
- Providing hands-on support at occasional events
Expect a 50/50 mix of customer-facing and internal communications work, with plenty of variety.
Experience using Canva or Photoshop for simple visual content. This role would suit someone looking to build their communications experience, or someone with more experience who’s happy stepping into a hands-on support role.
There will be a handover period with the current postholder, plus plenty of guidance to help you settle in.
