Our client, a leading international transport services company, is currently seeking an Account Manager to achieve profit growth through effective management of new and existing customer accounts from sale through to delivery by prospecting, telesales, field sales, and account management.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop your own portfolio of customers by cold calling businesses via telephone and attending your own sales appointments.
- Process consignments, track and chase deliveries, perform all customer service tasks, and develop the account on an ongoing basis.
- Be the single point of contact for your customers at all times.
- Provide excellent service to maximise profit.
- Earn bonuses on both new and retained business.
Skills and experience required:
- Full manual driving license.
- Experience in a proactive cold calling sales role, either on the phone or face-to-face.
- Essential influencing skills in a competitive industry.
