James Ray Recruitment are supporting a Primary School in Liverpool to recruit full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to work 1-1 with an EYFS child. The postholder will need to promote the independence and inclusion of all pupils, whilst also being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children within the setting.
Our client is looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience in working in a classroom of high-level SEND, such as non-verbal and personal care. The proposed start date is November 2025 to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of the roles becoming permanent.
Who is the ideal candidate?
- The ideal candidate must be comfortable with completing personal care.
- Someone who can create and support a calm, caring, and stimulating environment.
- To help all pupils to gain confidence to join in, share, and enjoy all aspects of school life.
- Has a good understanding of SEND.
- They must have experience of working in the EYFS.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one via James Ray Recruitment.
