Overview

James Ray Recruitment is partnering with a school in Knowsley to recruit passionate individuals to join their team as Learning Support Assistants. This full-time role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic term and could become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to students, particularly those with Moderate Learning Difficulties
  • Support learning activities under the guidance of classroom teachers
  • Offer one-on-one or small group support
  • Aid with classroom organisation and behaviour management
  • Collaborate with staff to implement individual education plans

Ideal candidate / Qualifications

  • Providing support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Assisting students in understanding and completing class assignments
  • Offering one-on-one support and guidance to students who require additional assistance
