James Ray Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a firm who have a long-standing reputation and broad client base who are looking to expand their team. The firm now require Residential Conveyancers to join their Hull and Withernsea office. They also have roles for assistants in Hull.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of residential conveyancing work under the supervision of qualified solicitors
- Provide administrative support to other property lawyers in the department
- Liaise with clients, other professionals and internal colleagues
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct searches and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
- Work to CQS Standard
Qualifications/skills required:
- Experience in residential conveyancing
- 3+ years pqe
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A meticulous eye for detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- IT literacy and experience with a computerised case management system, however training will be provided
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
