Job Description
We are recruiting for a rapidly growing firm in Beverley. This firm is a specialist Civil Litigation firm established by two local Partners with over 40 years experience in the industry.
The firm cover all aspects of civil litigation and work with large business with billion pound turnover. The Partners have specific expertise within shipping and fishing law and regulatory defence.
They require an experienced Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their team as they embark on national expansion, with plans to open offices in the North and the South of England. The desired candidates will:
- Advise clients on their best legal options, always prioritising their business, personal and commercial interests.
- Handle high-value disputes, including contractual, shareholder, and director disputes.
- Protect businesses from risk, tackling commercial property litigation and business protection cases (e.g., breach of restrictive covenants, springboard injunctions).
- Draft clear, persuasive legal arguments that strengthen our clients’ position.
- Represent clients in court and instruct Counsel when litigation is unavoidable.
- Strengthen relationships and expand our client base through networking and business development.
