Senior Interior Architect

An award-winning luxury interior design studio is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Interior Architect to lead a portfolio of high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Interior Architectural Director, the Senior Interior Architect will act as a client-facing project lead, responsible for delivering design excellence from concept through completion. The position requires an experienced designer with a refined aesthetic, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills to manage complex luxury schemes both in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects from concept design through to completion, ensuring design intent and quality are maintained at every stage.
  • Act as the primary client contact, building long-term relationships and providing strategic design advice.
  • Develop and present detailed design concepts, floor plans, elevations, bespoke joinery details, and FF&E specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with project goals.
  • Represent the studio at client meetings, design presentations, and industry events.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continued development of studio standards, processes, and technical excellence.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the luxury interior design sector — residential, hospitality, or commercial.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering high-value projects to an exceptional standard.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in a client-facing role.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction, detailing, joinery, and FF&E procurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to balance creativity and precision under tight deadlines.

Head Office: Twyford, Berkshire, with studio space across Prime Central London
