We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing building consultancy that provides surveying, project management and compliance services to residential management companies, developers, housebuilders and private clients across the UK.\\n\\nDue to new long-term instructions and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced professional to join the team on a remote basis.\\n\\nThe Role\\n This is a varied, project-led position offering remote working and independence, with regular site visits across London and the South/South East.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n * Deliver major project works from inception through to completion, including contract administration and employer's agent duties.\\n * Produce long-term maintenance plans, technical reports, defect analysis and building pathology assessments.\\n * Lead and support cladding and fire-safety remediation projects, working with residential developers and management companies.\\n * Manage party wall matters where required.\\n * Take full ownership of workload and project delivery with minimal supervision.\\n\\nLocation and Travel\\n * Remote working, with optional access to a South East London office.\\n * Primary workload in London, with additional projects in Reading, Woking, Highbury, Crawley, Bristol, Southampton, Kent, Essex and Cambridge.\\n * Candidates based in Kent are of particular interest.\\n\\nWhat We're Looking For\\n\\nEssential:\\n * MRICS or CIOB qualified, or significant relevant PQE.\\n * Experience in Building Surveying, Project Management and Contract Administration.\\n * Strong skills in building pathology, defect diagnosis and problem-solving.\\n * Confident operating independently and managing multiple concurrent projects.\\n * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.\\n\\nDesirable:\\n * Knowledge of cladding remediation, fire safety or major residential refurbishment projects.\\n * PQS or cost management experience considered \\n\\nWhat's in It for You\\n * Salary circa £70,000+, negotiable depending on experience.\\n * Car allowance, laptop and phone provided.\\n * Remote working with genuine flexibility and no micromanagement.\\n * Strong pipeline of long-term, high-quality projects.\\n * Opportunity to work closely with well-known housebuilders and residential developers.\\n * Real opportunities for progression as the company continues to grow.\\n\\nWho This Suits\\n * A confident and technically strong surveyor or project manager who thrives in an autonomous, trust-based environment.\\n * Someone who enjoys varied project work and client-facing responsibility.\\n * A professional seeking strong pay, flexibility and long-term stability.\\n\\nIf you are an experienced Building Surveyor or Project Manager looking for autonomy, flexibility and high-quality project responsibility, please get in touch to discuss further
