I’m currently working with a leading property consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Rural & Forestry Valuer to join their growing Scotland team. This role offers flexibility across key locations including Perth, Edinburgh, Inverness, and Stirling, with coverage across the wider Scottish market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded team with a strong reputation in rural and forestry valuations across Scotland. You’ll be working with an established and high-quality client base, including estates, landowners, and institutional clients. The Role
This is a broad, commercially focused position with real scope to build your own workstream and play a key role in expanding the valuation offering across Scotland. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering rural and forestry valuations across a diverse portfolio of Scottish assets
- Managing and developing strong client relationships across the region
- Working closely with established teams across rural, agency, and forestry disciplines
- Supporting the continued growth of the valuation service line in Scotland
- Identifying new opportunities and strengthening your presence in the market
- Potentially stepping into leadership responsibilities as the team expands
About You
This role would suit an experienced rural surveyor looking to take the next step, with the opportunity to grow into a senior or leadership position within a well-respected business. You will likely have:
- MRICS qualification with Registered Valuer status
- Around 5+ years’ experience in rural and/or forestry valuations
- Strong technical knowledge across rural, forestry, and residential property
- A commercial mindset with the ability to develop and win business
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, driven approach with ambition to progress your career
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- FAAV or a relevant rural/forestry qualification would be advantageous.
