My client, a highly prestigious and globally recognised property consultancy, is seeking a Chartered Historic Building Surveyor to join their established Architecture & Building Surveying team in Winchester. Working within a multidisciplinary team of surveyors, architects and rural specialists, you will deliver a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services, with a particular focus on heritage assets. Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on the preservation and conservation of historic buildings
  • Undertaking detailed building surveys and preparing reports
  • Managing contract administration across a range of projects
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
  • Delivering planned maintenance programmes and schedules of condition
  • Regular client interaction, including advising on procurement routes, contractor appointments and statutory compliance
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
