We have a great opportunity for a temp Training Administrator to support the busy, dynamic training department of a top 100 company in the UK.
Pay, Schedule and Location
- Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour (gross £470 for 35 hours/week).
- Days/Hours of Work: Mon‑Fri 9am‑5pm (35 hrs/week) with occasional 8am‑4pm on course days.
- Start: ASAP.
- Location: Houghton Regis, Beds.

The main part of your role will be:
- Contacting delegates (construction sector workers) booked on training courses to confirm details such as location, dates, dietary requirements, ensuring clear communication and a professional phone manner.
- Setting up and arranging training venues – ensuring displays, screens, paperwork and equipment are in place and physically fit to lift.
- Preparing and sending out certificates.
- Administering course results into the database – accurate data entry skills and Excel proficiency.
- Invigilating exams and supporting the Training Team Leader.
- Welcoming delegates arriving to courses, signing them in and directing them.
- Flexibility to start at 8am when required.
You will need to have:
- Good people skills – engaging and building rapport with delegates, confident and professional communication.
- Excellent phone manner – as the company runs many training courses.
- Strong data entry skills – recording delegate information and results.
- Flexibility – able to work odd occasions from 8am‑4pm instead of 9am‑5pm.
- Good Excel skills – recording results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – as much phone work is involved.
- A real team player for a small but perfectly formed team.
