Calling all fab Administrators available immediately! If you are looking to work for a UK leading company that is not only a company of choice to work for, but has a great supportive, fun team, then we have a great Administrator opportunity for you! This is covering a maternity leave for 12 months or so. It will start as part time, doing 25 hrs per week, but as of August, it will increase to 35 hrs per week (full time) for the duration of the contract.

Location: Houghton Regis, Beds. Hybrid working is possible after a successful period of training and development with 3/2 days between office and home respectively.

Salary: Β£12.81ph for the first 12 weeks rising to Β£13.81ph thereafter.

Days / Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (1 hr lunch break)

Overview of Role: You will be providing a professional administration service for the companies customers, internal and external and being a customer-focused role, it requires a positive and proactive approach.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure administrative procedures meet the requirements.
  • Assist in delivery of workload to ensure priority tasks are completed to agreed deadlines and objectives.
  • Liaise with relevant personnel, internally and externally and assist in the continuous improvement of processes in regard to documentation, practices, implementation, operations and services offered by the company.
  • Input and ensure correct validation of data into the database to ensure the correct locations, requirements, invoices etc are raised.
  • Respond effectively to client queries and requirements in respect to the SLAs and escalate sensitive/urgent matters.
  • Assist in the resolution of inquiries and highlight any potential process delays.
  • Provide support and cover to team colleagues as appropriate.
  • Deal with potentially sensitive and private data/information and liaise with internal and external clients to resolve relevant inquiries.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • The ability and commitment to ensure the companies high level of service and excellent customer care is demonstrated at all times.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Someone who takes ownership of their learning and development always looking to do a better job.
  • Math and English (GCSE A – C or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • Accurate and thorough approach, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as an individual and also as a team member, providing support to the team when required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tasks.
  • Ability to work within defined procedures and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Pro-active and able to use own initiative.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
