Rate of Pay: £12.74ph rising to £14.40ph after 12 weeks
Benefits: additional holiday pay, free parking
Days/Hours of work: Mon- Fri 9am 5pm (35 hours per week)
Overview of the role:
- 1st Line Technical Support using Service Desk Software (Samanage).
- Undertake UAT testing with the team when required.
- Provide efficient and effective support to system users.
- Ensure that service desk requests are logged and processed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner.
- Resolving tickets on a 1st line level and where necessary, take detailed info and escalate to a more senior IT personnel for support.
- Undertake any other related work under the direction of the IT Management Team.
Person Requirements:
- Highly motivated with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Good experience of IT systems and accurate keyboard skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the telephone.
- Experience in working in a customer focused environment.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Previous Service Desk experience.
