Calling all experienced Customer Services candidates looking for a 3 month or so temp contract.
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Initial 4 weeks, working at the HQ thereafter, hybrid
Days/Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (35 hrs per week)
Rate of Pay: £13.45ph rising to £13.81ph after 12 weeks
Benefits: free parking, holiday pay (20 days + 8 days bank holidays, pro rata), pension after qualifying period.
Overview of the Customer Advisors Role
You will be expected to provide a professional and efficient support service to the companies customers in respect of handling enquiries via Web, phone or email. This is a customer focused role, requiring the successful person to develop and maintain good customer relationships with all clients, new and existing, enquiring about training courses offered and other appropriate products. You will liaise with clients, help identify their needs and advise them of the appropriate training courses and any other products and services they may need. As a Customer Advisor, you will provide great customer service and champion best practice in customer relationships at all times. The post-holder will also be required to carry out admin tasks with accuracy.
Day to Day Duties of the Customer Advisor Role
- Engage with clients questioning, listening and identifying their needs and providing information and advice on appropriate products and services.
- Respond professionally and effectively to all incoming telephone calls and online queries.
- Increase customer service through supporting clients to self-serve through the online portal.
- Process credit/debit payments.
- Build positive relationships with new and existing clients while maintaining and handling all customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, sales and transactions utilising internal systems including SAP, Salesforce etc.
- Issue invoices, credit notes and refunds where required.
- Be a great supportive team player.
- Undertake administrative tasks.
The Person Requirements
- You will have previous experience in a customer service/training environment.
- Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with people at all levels.
- Accurate and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service, and go the extra mile to exceed customers’ expectations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, and plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines.
