We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Contracts Manager on a Three-month contract., The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a team of Surveyors and have worked on both compliance/responsive repairs contracts.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Directly line managing a team of five surveyors, covering void and responsive maintenance on domestic properties

Providing advice to the team of surveyors, and handle complaints that have been escalated

Overseeing compliance contracts and ensuring all works are completed within allotted time frames and in budget, including a lift replacement programme and fibre installs and upgrades

Ensuring all damp and mould requirements are actioned and adhered to

Completing section 20 consultations with tenants in relation to planned upgrades and compliance works

Experience required in Social Housing

Experience working with compliance
-
Experience overseeing mid-large-scale contracts
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The day rate on offer is negotiable up to a figure of £275 via an Umbrella company.
