We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
  • You will work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
  • You will carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
  • You will provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
  • You will carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
  • Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
  • Valid Driving License.
