Senior Electrical Estimator Position Overview We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the building services sector, looking to onboard an experienced Electrical Estimator. This is a unique chance to join an innovative organization working on diverse commercial and retail projects. In this role, you will be pivotal in accurately planning and costing electrical installations to ensure successful project delivery. Core Responsibilities Your duties will include developing precise project estimates, analysing technical specifications, and coordinating with project teams, engineers, and suppliers. You will verify design data, manage key communications with clients, and ensure all financial estimates meet required safety and compliance standards. You will also participate in pre-contract negotiations, support value engineering efforts, and handle contract amendments where necessary. Ideal Candidate The ideal applicant will have at least three years of experience in electrical estimating, particularly in commercial and retail environments. A strong understanding of electrical regulations and systems, along with proficiency in Trimble Estimation software, is essential. Holding an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or a similar qualification will enhance your application. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are key. What’s on Offer Depending on the candidate the salary on offer can range from £50,000 to £75,000 plus package, inclusive of health insurance, 25 days + bank holidays, 4x DIS, 5% matched pension scheme, electric car scheme and substantial career advancement opportunities.
