If you’re a Mechanical Supervisor who wants to work on a proper data centre project rather than another standard commercial plantroom job, this is a strong opportunity. You’ll be joining a major Camberley data centre scheme involving two new data halls and the refurbishment of an existing hall.
The work is technically detailed, fast-moving and built around critical mechanical infrastructure, so it needs someone who can keep control of labour, quality, programme and coordination on site. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. The project needs a Mechanical Supervisor who can walk the job, understand what is happening, pick up issues early and make sure the installation is being delivered safely and properly.
The role
You’ll be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works across a live data centre environment. That means managing labour, subcontractors, materials, permits, access, QA, snagging and day-to-day site coordination, while working closely with the Mechanical Project Manager and wider delivery team.
The project is expected to include critical cooling, pipework, plantroom infrastructure, chilled water systems, ventilation, CRAC/CRAH units, valves, pumps, pressurisation, flushing, testing, commissioning support and handover documentation.
You’ll need to keep the work moving without letting standards slip.
