An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Utility M&E Manager to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and utility services on our construction projects. This site-based role involves ensuring compliance, design verification, and seamless coordination of M&E and utility installations to the highest standards.

The position is a travelling role going between the work across various sites in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing M&E and utility installations from inception to completion while providing onsite support to project teams. You will compile and present project reports, including program dates, risks, and progress updates. Identifying risk items and non-conformances in design and installation will be a key part of the role, ensuring that conflicts are resolved to prevent delays and cost overruns. Liaising with contractors, utility companies, local authorities, and stakeholders will be essential to ensure smooth project delivery. You will also manage utility connections and disconnections in line with build programs, highlighting any potential risks. Support will be provided by the Works Team, the Building Services Department, and the Utility Manager, who will assist with procurement, design, and contractor coordination.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong M&E and utilities background looking to progress into a centralised role within a new-build environment. While utility experience is preferred, candidates with the right attitude and eagerness to learn will be given the opportunity to develop and expand their careers.

The salary on offer is circa £60,000 - £70,000 + car allowance + 25 days holiday + bonuses.
