We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client one of the UK’s leading manufacturers.
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:
* You\’ll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
* You\’ll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
* You\’ll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
* You\’ll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
* You\’ll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:
* Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
* Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
* Valid Driving License
