Description We are recruiting an HGV Technician Supervisor for the late shift at a leading truck dealership in Felixstowe. You will supervise the shift technicians, coordinate the workload and stay hands on with diagnosis and repair. Salary Up to £27.50 per hour: £57,200 basic for a 40 hour week, c.£60,500 with alternate Saturdays Hours 40 hours, 15:30 to midnight, with a 30 minute break. Alternate Saturdays paid at time and a half. Key responsibilities • Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload • Liaise with your Manager on shift staffing, training needs and KPIs • Diagnose and repair vehicles • Service vehicles to a high standard • Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications needed • Use diagnostic equipment • Complete job cards clearly and accurately • Take part in the call out and breakdown rota if and when required What you need • C&G or NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification • Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills • Good understanding of health and safety in a workshop • Clean driving licence (HGV is an advantage) Benefits • 25 days holiday, rising with service • Pension scheme • Healthcare scheme • Employee discounts across retailers, cinemas and more • Cycle to work scheme • Discount on contract hire vehicles
