If you’re an Electrical Project Manager who wants to work in data centres without being swallowed up by one enormous package for the next two years, this is a good opportunity. You’ll be delivering smaller but technically important data centre projects across Welwyn Garden City and Harlow, with individual schemes around the £1m mark.
The work is expected to involve critical electrical infrastructure, white space upgrades, power distribution, containment, structured cabling, security systems, plant interfaces, commissioning support and live environment coordination. These are not basic commercial projects. They are fast-moving data centre schemes where detail, sequencing, access, shutdowns, client communication and quality all matter.
The role
You’ll take control of electrical project delivery from pre-start through to handover. That means managing the programme, labour, subcontractors, materials, technical information, QA, commercial position and client relationship across multiple live data centre environments. You’ll be working closely with the wider project team to make sure the job is planned properly, installed correctly, tested, commissioned and handed over with clean documentation.
This role will suit someone who likes ownership.
