You will lead the electrical package through pre-construction and delivery, coordinating with a senior mechanical lead and the wider project team to achieve safe, high-quality handovers.

The project Programme scale: £15m MEP across new Healthcare, Combined Workshop and Kitchen buildings.

  • Healthcare for 25 weeks from 18 December 2025 to 29 June 2026
  • Workshop for 48 weeks from 30 March 2026 to 12 March 2027
  • Kitchen for 42 weeks from 30 March 2026 to 29 January 2027

Pre-construction: live now through March 2026 with design reviews, surveys, procurement planning and enabling.

Delivery model: sub-let labour and sundries, with capital plant, switchgear, luminaires, main distribution and large cables supplied directly.

Your remit:

  • Lead the electrical scope from pre-con through commissioning and client handover
  • Plan and sequence works with the Senior Mechanical PM, Project Director and PC
  • Manage subcontractors, set production targets, track labour and materials, and drive progress to programme
  • Own quality control and close-out including ITPs, inspections, red lines, as-builts, O&M data and training support
  • Coordinate design clarifications, RFIs and value engineering with Design and Estimating
  • Chair and contribute to progress and coordination meetings with stakeholders and security teams
  • Protect safety on site including RAMS reviews, permits, daily briefings and area sign-offs
  • Maintain commercial awareness, support take-offs, variation and EWN logs and align reporting with internal finance systems

The team around you:

  • Visiting Project Director
  • Senior Mechanical PM and project lead
  • Senior Electrical PM - This is you
  • Visiting Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Three MEP Site or Construction Managers, one per building
  • Site-based Document Controller, QA Manager and Storeman

Tooling and systems:

  • Viewpoint and Dialux CDEs with training provided where required
  • Standard BIM viewer and snagging applications
  • Financial reporting aligned to internal platforms

What you will bring:

  • Strong track record delivering electrical packages on large MEP projects
  • Ideally custodial or other high-security experience, but Tier 1 delivery experience is also welcomed
  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS, with clear leadership in live environments
  • Confident stakeholder management and clear, concise reporting
  • Ability to plan, de-risk and drive commissioning to clean witness and handover

Security and logistics:

Security clearance is required due to project sensitivity. Sponsorship for vetting will be arranged. Pre-construction will involve hybrid attendance between London HQ and site. From early 2026 the role becomes predominantly site-based at Highpoint.

Why this role:

  • Long-run programme with the time and scope to do things properly
  • Established contractor with a healthy custodial pipeline through 2027
  • Clear runway to lead future projects of circa £15m on completion
