This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.\\n\\nHGV Class 1 Driver\\nContract: Permanent\\nOvertime: Enhanced rate\\nLocation: Slough and surrounding areas\\nSalary: Starting from £20.00 per hour\\n\\nShift: Variable shift available, Day/ Nights, Full Time/Part Time, Weekend, Flexi Days, etc.\\n\\nMain duties/ responsibilities\\n• Operating commercial vehicles\\n• Load and unload goods\\n• Manual work\\n• Making sure loads are safely secured\\n• Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary\\n• Carrying out basic routine maintenance\\n\\nTechnical Skills:\\n• A valid HGV and CPC license\\n• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations\\n• Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently\\n• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair\\n• Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices\\n\\nThe successful candidate will:\\n• Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude\\n• Be flexible and reliable\\n• Have great communication skills\\n• Provide a full 5-year checkable history\\n• Hold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it)\\n• Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
