We are looking for a LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter to join our client, one of the UKβs leading manufacturers.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
- You will work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
- You will carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
- You will provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
- You will carry out final checks on work that has been completed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Time-served LGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
- Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
- Valid Driving License
