We are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Mayfair, for an experienced Seamstress. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class luxury hotel, where exceptional attention to detail and impeccable presentation are at the core of the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out alterations, repairs, and maintenance of staff uniforms to a high standard.
- Repair and alter guest garments where required, ensuring excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Perform minor repairs to hotel linens, curtains, and other fabric items when necessary.
- Maintain an organised and well-stocked sewing room, ensuring equipment is kept in good working order.
- Monitor uniform stock and report any shortages or replacement requirements.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping department to ensure all uniforms and textiles are presented to the highest luxury standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience as a Seamstress in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
