We are currently recruiting for a Shift Supervisor to join our established team based at our busy Yate depot. The successful candidate will lead one of our Day Shift teams, working 5am to 2pm and 1pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, with weekly rotation.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, organized, and an excellent communicator with prior experience in a hands-on supervisory role. They should be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while motivating and focusing their team to complete tasks efficiently. A valid Combilift or Counter Balance license is required, along with the ability to conduct manual handling work such as order picking. Experience working with timber products is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring staff comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Communicating effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Organizing, delegating, and monitoring work to meet all requirements.
  • Operating forklifts, loading and unloading lorries, picking orders, and managing goods inwards.
  • Leading your team by example in a positive and unified manner.
