We are looking for a motivated and organised Supply Chain Co‑Ordinator to join our established Leicester team.

This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone with stock control or inventory experience who enjoys problem solving, working with people and keeping operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with our Sales, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to maintain accurate stock, support efficient operations and help deliver excellent customer service.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate stock records and timber tallies in Bistrack across Timber and Panel departments.
  • Carry out stock audits, reconciliations, cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on replenishment, receipts, returns, claims and credit notes.
  • Purchase stock for the depot, including internal transfers, using stock profiles and suggested ordering tools.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, delivery delays and related issues, reporting findings where required.
  • Prepare inventory reports, identify trends and support effective stock planning across group locations.
  • Support compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and FSC/PEFC Chain of Custody requirements.
  • Maintain accurate system information and provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Key Skills And Qualifications
  • Experience in stock control, inventory management or a similar role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of panels and timber would be an advantage.
  • GCSEs, or equivalent, in Maths and English are required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
