Job Title: Roving Site Engineer Housing Infrastructure Projects Company: James Lambeth Recruitment are recruiting for a Regional Groundworks & Civil Engineering Contractor Location: South East Employment Type: Freelance or Permanent About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor specializing in large-scale housing infrastructure projects. These projects include earthworks, deep and shallow drainage, piling mats, and major infrastructure such as 278 works. Responsibilities: Manage technical aspects and setting out of construction sites. Oversee site teams, including subcontractors and direct workforce. Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and site documentation. Coordinate materials and plant logistics. Provide weekly progress reports and attend site meetings. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and site personnel. Resolve challenges with a proactive and commercially aware approach. Requirements: Strong communication and leadership skills.
