James Lambeth Recruitment is working with a leading civil engineering contractor to appoint a Project Site Agent for a major earthworks and infrastructure scheme in Hampshire. This is a site-based role supporting the Project Manager and Contract Manager across delivery, engineering, and project performance.
The Role:
- Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with quality, H&S and environmental standards
- Prepare project-specific quality, environmental and H&S plans
- Monitor progress against programme and budget, reporting weekly into CVRs and forecasts
- Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate construction on site
- Manage procurement, subcontractor performance and supplier payments
- Lead daily engineering briefings and coordinate engineering requirements with site teams
- Identify risks early and support commercial teams with accurate information
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
- Ensure timely submission of documentation for the project H&S file
