A long-established, family-owned civil engineering contractor is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to support a major earthworks and infrastructure scheme in the South East, alongside wider projects across Kent. The business delivers large-scale highways, earthworks, structures, utilities and renewable energy works nationwide, with a strong annual turnover and a reputation for delivering complex civil engineering projects to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being embedded on site, working closely with operational teams, and driving safe, compliant and environmentally responsible working practices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Support site teams with RAMS, incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain and update all H&S and environmental documentation
- Lead environmental initiatives, waste-reduction measures and sustainability actions
- Promote a strong safety and environmental culture across busy civils and earthworks operations
- Liaise with clients
