We are supporting a busy groundworks and civil engineering contractor in appointing an experienced Document Controller to join their project office team. You must have a proven background working in a construction office environment, with strong capability using SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
The Role
- Manage project documentation, ensuring accurate control, distribution, and version management across live sites. This includes drawings, RAMS, permits, correspondence, and compliance records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update document control systems (SharePoint or similar)
- Manage incoming/outgoing drawings, revisions, and registers
- Support site teams with document access and compliance requirements
- Ensure accurate filing, naming conventions, and audit readiness
- Liaise with engineers, site managers, QS teams, and subcontractors
- General project office administration as required
