A busy groundworks subcontractor is looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join on a freelance basis for a 12-month infrastructure contract in Newmarket. The role involves leading site engineering activities and managing a small team.
Role Overview:
- Oversee setting out, QA, and material take-offs across reinforced concrete substructures, HD bolts, drainage, attenuation tanks, services, roads, and yard slabs
- Lead and support two Site Engineers and one Junior Engineer
- Report directly to the Project Manager and maintain daily progress
- Ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to spec
