The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support a busy housing-infrastructure package for a 3-week assignment. You will be responsible for setting out using Total Station, managing QA, and supporting multiple work fronts on a fast-moving site.
Scope of Works:
- Section 278 works: kerbs, footways, tie-ins, levels
- Deep drainage: manholes, chambers, adoptable systems
- Adoptable highways: formation, sub-base, road build-up
- Housing infrastructure: plots, services, up to DPC level
- Producing/checking as-builts, ITPs, QA documentation
- Coordinating with site management and subcontractors to maintain programme and quality
Requirements:
- Strong background in groundworks/civils on housing infrastructure
- Confident with Total Stations for all setting-out duties (no GPS required)
- Competent with AutoCAD and accurate QA record-keeping
- Able to work independently and support the team during a short-term period
- CSCS essential; SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial
