The Role Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Deliver consistently high-quality dishes in a busy brasserie environment. Help lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team. Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety. Assist with menu development, stock control and minimising food waste. Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen service at all times. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step. Passionate about fresh food, quality ingredients and great presentation. A strong team player with good leadership and organisational skills. Calm under pressure and confident working in a fast-paced kitchen. Knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards.
