We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially focused General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a hotel in Nairn, offering a salary of £50,000 per annum. The Role As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the smooth and profitable running of the hotel, ensuring exceptional standards of service, operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring consistently high standards throughout. Leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver excellent customer service. Managing budgets, controlling costs and maximising revenue and profitability. Driving occupancy, room revenue and opportunities to grow the business. Maintaining high standards across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Monitoring guest feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the guest experience. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, licensing and other relevant legislation. Building positive relationships with guests, suppliers and the local community. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a confident, hands-on and commercially minded hotel manager who can combine operational excellence with strong leadership. You will ideally have: Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior hotel management position. A proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team. Strong financial management and commercial skills. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ability to identify opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement. A proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards. What's on Offer?
