We are working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company on the outskirts of Redditch, looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team due to continued growth. This is a hands-on role covering programming, setting and operating on both horizontal and vertical machining centres, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Editing and proving out programs at the machine
- Producing components to tight tolerances and specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks
- Supporting improvements in cycle times and machining efficiency
- Working across small batch, one-offs and repeat work
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Programmer / Setter / Operator)
- Strong experience with Fanuc controls
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Confident reading engineering drawings
- Experience with horizontal or vertical machining centres up to 4 Axis
