This role is based within a well-established CNC precision engineering company producing high-specification components for a range of industries. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting precision-engineered components within a CNC machining environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our components meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality before reaching our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting components using handheld measuring tools such as calipers, verniers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Operating and Programming CMM
- Interpreting and working to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out in-process and final inspections of machined components.
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in quality processes.
- Accurately recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machining or precision engineering environment.
- Proficient in using handheld inspection equipment.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
- A proactive and meticulous approach to quality and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- £17.00 per hour starting rate
- 7.15-17.15 Monday to Thursday
- Optional Weekly overtime paid at a premium
