CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator on the outskirts of Coventry. Working on the production of one-off and low-volume prototype components. This is a hands-on, rewarding role for someone who enjoys variety, precision work, and the challenge of machining bespoke parts where no two jobs are the same. Our work is diverse and technically engaging, often involving complex components that require a high level of skill and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

  • Programming 3 and 4 axis CNC Millers
  • Setting and operating CNC 3 and 4 axis Machines
  • Work from engineering drawings and specifications to deliver accurate, high-quality results
  • Generate CNC programs either offline using CAD/CAM software or directly at the machine using Fanuc, Siemens, or Hurco controls
  • Set up machines, load materials, and run test pieces to verify accuracy before full production
  • Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards
  • Perform daily maintenance and general upkeep of machinery

  • Strong CNC programming and setting experience
  • Able to program either offline (CAD/CAM) or at the machine, depending on your skillset
  • Confident working from detailed technical drawings and using precision measuring tools
  • A methodical and detail-focused approach to producing high-spec, low-volume parts
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
