Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer with a strong background in precision machining to take on a key role in programming, setting, and supporting the manufacture of high-spec components. The successful candidate will be responsible for offline programming using CAD/CAM software, and will be expected to play a hands-on role in the setting and optimisation of CNC processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offline programming of complex 5-axis CNC parts using industry-standard CAD/CAM software
  • Creating programs for precision-machined components used in aerospace, defence, and motorsport applications
  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Selecting tools, speeds, and feeds to ensure efficient and accurate machining
  • CNC machine setting and supporting first-off production runs
  • Working closely with machinists and engineering to resolve production issues
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 5-Axis CNC Programmer within a high-precision engineering environment
  • Strong CAD/CAM programming skills with experience using offline programming software
  • Excellent understanding of precision machining principles, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to set and prove out complex CNC programs on the machine
  • Experience working within sectors such as aerospace, defence, or Formula 1
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset

  • Overtime available and paid at 1.5x standard rate
  • Stable days-based working hours (Mon–Fri, 7:30am to 4:00pm)
