We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a forward-thinking precision engineering business operating from a modern, well-invested manufacturing facility. The site houses high-spec CNC lathes and state-of-the-art equipment, supporting the production of the company’s own engineered product range. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to strengthen the team. The Role

Reporting into the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to specification and schedule. Key duties include:

  • Setting CNC turning machines (Fanuc-controlled and similar)
  • Running established programs and making necessary offset adjustments
  • Tool setting and producing first-off components for approval
  • Conducting first-off inspection using engineering drawings
  • Completing relevant quality documentation
  • Monitoring output to ensure production targets are achieved
  • Ensuring components meet required quality standards
  • Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
