THE ROLE:
This position sits within a dynamic client services team and focuses on delivering high-quality support to a global client base. You will act as a key point of contact for client queries, working closely with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively. The role offers a mix of client interaction, problem-solving, and process improvement, along with the opportunity to build deep knowledge of financial markets, systems, and workflows. You will also play a part in enhancing service delivery and contributing to a seamless client experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and prioritise incoming client requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Communicate directly with clients via phone and video to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to minimise delays and improve outcomes
- Keep stakeholders informed on the status and progress of client queries
- Monitor support queues and contribute to consistent service coverage
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to processes and workflows
- Support data reconciliation and quality assurance activities
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing support
- Deliver training sessions and assist with client onboarding activities
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience in, or strong interest in, a client-facing role within financial services or fintech
- Interest in developing expertise within financial technology and capital markets
- Basic understanding in one of the following capital markets areas: Securities Lending, REPO (Repurchase Agreements), Collateral Management, OTC Derivatives
- The ability to learn & operate bespoke configuration tools/application
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using systems or technical tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required
