Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Ledger Clerk at JAMES JAMIESON CONSTRUCTION LIMITED in our Ellon office.
The Purchase Ledger Clerk - The role
responsible for raising purchase orders, matching delivery notes and invoices.
Monthly reconciliation of statements, chasing copies of any missing invoices.
Collaborate with other team members to clarify any purchasing / invoice queries.
Analyzing purchase invoices to ensure validity
Management of phone calls and emails
The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate and efficient financial record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Purchase Ledgers and Purchase Orders
- Proficiency in financial record-keeping and bookkeeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Sage & Microsoft Office is essential
