We are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our busy foundry workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the foundry team with knock-out operations (removing sand from castings using hammers and hand tools)
  • Loading and managing the skip/waste area
  • Preparing finished items for dispatch
  • Unloading and receiving deliveries
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workshop environment
  • Supporting general workshop duties as required

Requirements

  • Must adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Physically fit and able to carry out a demanding, hands-on role
  • Comfortable working in an industrial workshop environment
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Hours of Work

Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:30pm

Additional Information

This is a temporary position initially, with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate may receive training in moulding and furnace operations, offering long-term development within the company.
