Contract Type: Temporary (12-month FTC)
Hours of work: 38 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, 22:00 till 06:00)
Salary: £12.75 (21+) plus shift allowances
About the Role: Join our multi-skilled team of bakery assistants, helping to create our range of breads and confectionery products. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality items and ensuring we continue to deliver the excellent customer satisfaction we’re known for.
Here is What You Can Expect to be Doing:
- Production, baking and packing various bakery products
- Working across multiple production lines
- Set up and run machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products to set specifications
- Completing documents and records accurately
- Manufacture safe, quality food by following all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards and working practices
- General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas
- Moving equipment such as trolleys and racks safely
- Adheres to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products

A Few Things About You:
- To be a positive and organised individual
- Experience of working within a similar role is desirable
- Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be given
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated
- Have a positive outlook and enjoy working as part of a team, leading by example
- Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy
- Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
- Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which includes weekends and Bank Holidays
