About the Role
As a Post Office Retail Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of providing fantastic service to our customers. Working in our SPAR store, you’ll deliver both everyday retail services and a wide range of Post Office transactions. You’ll work with a friendly, supportive team, helping the store run smoothly while ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering excellent customer service across both retail and Post Office counters.
- Processing Post Office transactions such as postage, parcels, bill payments, banking services, and other available products.
- Operating the till, handling cash securely, and reconciling transactions accurately
- Managing stock levels, replenishing shelves, and controlling waste.
- Maintaining store and Post Office security in line with company procedures.
- Providing advice and guidance to customers on Post Office products and services.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Employment in this role is subject to successfully obtaining a P250 Post Office security clearance.
